This is all-new and, as an extra treat, if you get one you’ll qualify for a free Google Home Mini. If you get a Nokia 6 or a Nokia 7 Plus then you get a Google Home Mini too. Boom!
OK, let’s have a look at the specs. First you’ll have probably noticed that “Samsung Galaxy-esque” curved screen. It’s a 5.5″ 2K display (1440 x 2560 pixels) with a 16:9 ratio (~534 ppi). Measuring in at 140.93 x 72.97 x 7.5 mm, this has 128GB of on-board storage, 6GB RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core CPU (4 x 2.36 GHz Kryo + 4 x 1.9 GHz Kryo). It’s available in black, black or black and has GPS, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and Qi Wireless Charging for the 3260mAh battery.
Other highlights include the Corning Gorilla Glass 3D Glass, two rear Zeiss cameras (a wide-angle 12 megapixel at f/1.7 and a 13 megapixel “Tele” shooter at f/2.6) plus a front-facing 5 megapixel cam. It’s charged via a USB Type C port and has a fingerprint sensor. It’s also IP67 dust and water resistant.
Powered by Android One, the handset has an easy-to-use interface with free Google Photos storage and regular security updates plus two years of OS upgrades.
The price. The price.. well, the price.. now.. You want the price? Well, now bear in mind that the OnePlus 6 128GB is £519 and that the 128GB-packing Honor 10 is just £399.99. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is… £699.
