Facebook upped its media game this week with new deals that give its users access to more content. First, the company has struck a licensing agreement with Warner Music Group. The deal means Facebook users will be able to embed music by Warner artists in videos and other posts shared on the social network. Facebook and Warner said they’ll collaborate on “new products that enable users to personalize their music experiences across Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Oculus.” Facebook already has similar agreements in place with Universal and Sony. Second, Facebook has a new partnership with Major League Baseball to bring daytime games to the social network. Under the terms of the deal, Facebook will stream 25 games during the regular season to the Facebook Watch service. Further, the MLB Live Facebook page will include access to recorded games globally. Facebook will begin airing live MLB games in April.
